We made a 450 mile road trip to this beautiful resort near Sacramento California for Memorial Day Weekend, 1998. We conducted a Naked Light tournament, where 8 coed teams of 4-persons each played on 3 courts. |

In February, 1998, we returned to Shangri La II for a doubles tournament on their new sand courts. We attended their Valentine's Dance, and one of our members made this Valentines Ball to celebrate the occasion. |
In January, 1998, we headed out to Desert Shadows at Palm Springs, CA to escape the wrath of El Nino. There we found luxurious accomodations and beautiful weather. We brought over 30 members to participate in the first Naked Light tournament. | ![]() |

In November, 1997, we made our first visit to a brand new resort near Jacumba, CA. There we found warm weather and clear skies for hiking and volleyball. They had not yet built their courts, so they let us play on the grass outside their spacious clubhouse. |

Also during the summer of 1997, we spent many warm weekends at San Onofre State Beach, where we enjoyed the warm waters of El Nino. Little did we know how much trouble El Nino would cause during the coming Winter. |
During the Summer of 1997, we spent a lot of Sundays at McConville. At 2600 feet elevation, McConville is often comfortable when other resorts are too hot to play volleyball, and the sun is shining when the beach is fogged in. | ![]() |

At the 1997 WSA Summer Festival hosted by Glen Eden, Naked Volleyball's coed "B" team won 1st place. It was our first group campout at a nudist club, and we even had a camp dinner. |
On Memorial Day Weekend, 1997, we camped out on property owned by friends of Naked Volleyball, which we dubbed Bare Mountain. We did lots of hiking in the surrounding hills, and we played volleyball on their well-mowed field. Here we are preparing the wood-fired hot tub to soak our weary muscles. | ![]() |

We fielded several teams at the 1996 Fall Festival hosted by McConville. This was the first time we really felt like a club, not just a group. Our men's "A" team won 1st place. |
